This piece was created in a time where I was dealing intensely with anxiety and depression. I photographed myself after crying for hours and used my own bloodshot eyes as a reference for the piece. I wanted to capture the rawest emotion I could, while juxtaposing the beauty that remains in a soul that is struggling.
