What if a woman, all along, has known what she wanted? What if these rules society has given us were the reason we’ve been labeled as inconsistent and volatile? What if those those rules were put to rest in our own souls? What if we laid them down softly, tucked them in peacefully with a knit blanket and a kiss goodnight- and what if we allowed our own desires to awaken instead? What if we really do know what we value, deep down in ourselves, what we want to see in the world, in our own lives? What would we be like then?
