This piece developed from my own thoughts regarding the expectations of women. The general message that women need to be one thing or another is simply disproved by the daily life that women lead. We have to do it all. It is our nature to do and be multiple things at once, shifting beautifully between our characteristics. We are soft and strong, fierce and empathetic, nurturing warriors. We have the ability to be friend and coworker and wife and mother all at once.

Rather than trying to put us into one box or another, society must understand the duality of woman is something to be cherished. As we understand this, so will we thrive.

The illegible script in this piece is poetry written around the ideas expressed above.
